§ 1. General Provisions and Definitions
These Terms of Service govern the rules and conditions for using the sportovo.io application — a sports club management platform. The application is designed to support the organisation and management of sports activities, including the management of players, coaches, sports events, attendance, and payment systems.
Terms used in these Terms of Service mean:
- Application — the sportovo.io platform available as a web and mobile application (iOS/Android)
- Operator — DO SYSTEM Sp. z o. o., the entity managing the sportovo.io platform; VAT: PL5783172339, KRS: 0001123243, REGON: 529455490, ul. Powstańców Warszawskich 7/2, 82-300 Elbląg, Poland; contact: contact@sportovo.io
- Club Administrator (Owner/Supervisor) — a user with administrative rights within the club account
- Coach — a user with rights to manage assigned age categories and players
- Player/Parent — a user accessing the application as a club member or guardian
- Club — a sports organisation using the sportovo.io platform
Use of the sportovo.io application is voluntary and constitutes acceptance of all provisions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Minors may use the application only with the consent and under the supervision of their parents or legal guardians.
§ 2. Registration and User Accounts
Full use of the application requires creating an account. Registration is completed by providing an email address and setting a password, or via an invitation sent by the club administrator. Requirements for accounts: each user may have one account linked to one email address; users must provide accurate and up-to-date personal data; passwords must meet minimum security requirements (at least 8 characters); users are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and must not share them with third parties. In the event of suspected unauthorised access, users should immediately change their password and contact the club administrator or application support.
§ 3. User Roles and Permissions
- Owner — full access to all application features; club account management, subscription, coaches, supervisors, categories, and players; access to all financial reports
- Supervisor — broad administrative access similar to the owner, except for managing the owner's account and subscription settings
- Coach — access to manage assigned age categories, players, and events; attendance recording; limited access to financial data
- Player/Parent — access to own profile, attendance history, notifications, and payments; no access to other users' data
§ 4. Application Features
- Club management: club data configuration, access settings, bank account management, subscription
- Category management: creating and editing age categories, assigning coaches and players
- Player and coach management: profiles, activity history, attendance statistics, application invitations
- Event management: scheduling training sessions, matches and tournaments, recurring events, attendance tracking
- Payment system: payment creation, online payments (PayU, Stripe, Klarna), transaction history, payment documents
- Communication: internal messages (group and individual conversations), push notifications, in-app notifications
- Reports and statistics: attendance reports, financial summaries, data export
- Invoicing: automatic invoice generation via the Fakturownia system
§ 5. User Rights and Obligations
Users have the right to use all application features available for their role, receive technical support, access and edit their personal data, and report errors. Users agree to: use the application in accordance with its intended purpose; provide accurate data; respect other users' rights; keep login credentials confidential; immediately report any security breaches; and comply with applicable law including data protection regulations.
§ 6. Prohibited Activities
- Sending unsolicited messages (spam) or marketing content without recipients' consent
- Attempting unauthorised access to the system or other users' accounts (hacking)
- Introducing malware, viruses, or harmful scripts
- Infringing intellectual property rights
- Processing or sharing other users' personal data without proper legal basis
- Using the application for unlawful or unethical purposes
- Circumventing security mechanisms, limits, or system permissions
- Automated data scraping without the operator's consent
Violation of the above prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or deletion and legal liability.
§ 7. Personal Data Protection
The rules for processing personal data within the sportovo.io application are set out in the Privacy Policy, a separate document available in the application at /privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and should be read together with them. The club administrator bears responsibility for the lawful processing of their members' personal data within the application.
§ 8. Availability and Technical Interruptions
The operator strives to ensure continuous availability of the application 24/7. However, the operator reserves the right to carry out maintenance and update work that may cause temporary unavailability. Planned technical interruptions will be communicated to users at least 24 hours in advance via the application or electronically. The operator is not liable for internet connectivity issues on the user's side or for unavailability of external operators' services (e.g. Stripe, PayU).
§ 9. Liability
The operator is not liable for: application interruptions due to technical reasons or force majeure; data loss caused by user actions contrary to these Terms; users' actions or omissions that violate these Terms; content of messages transmitted by users; unavailability of external payment operator services; or damage resulting from unauthorised account access caused by the user disclosing login credentials. The operator's liability is limited to actual damage and does not cover lost profits.
§ 10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights to the sportovo.io application, including copyrights to source code, graphics, user interface, logo, trademarks, and documentation, belong to the platform operator or entities licensing these rights to the operator. Users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application solely for the purposes specified in these Terms. Copying, decompiling, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works based on the application or its elements is prohibited without the operator's written consent.
§ 11. Account Termination
Users may at any time request account deletion by contacting the club administrator or the platform operator. Account deletion results in permanent deletion of the user's personal data, subject to data that must be retained under applicable law. The club administrator may suspend or delete a user's account in the event of a breach of these Terms. The operator may terminate the agreement with a club in the event of subscription non-payment, breach of these Terms, or cessation of the operator's activities.
§ 12. Changes to Terms
The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms for good cause, including changes in applicable law, technical or functional changes to the application, changes in conditions with external service providers, or regulatory authority decisions. Users will be informed of changes via the application or electronically at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the application after the amended Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. Users who do not accept the changes have the right to delete their accounts.
§ 13. Final Provisions
Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction. These Terms take effect upon publication in the application. For questions about the application, please contact the club administrator. Technical reports directed to the operator are handled in accordance with the applicable customer service procedures.
